error report from avg:' computer system seems to be inaccurate. This may lead to false virus database up-to-date reporting. Please correct your system time if possible.'
ANSWER: Avg updates it virus database on a frequent basis.Since these updates are categorized on the basis of the time and date when they were made available for download, keeping track of this activity is crucial for AVG to make sure that their database is up-to-date to counter newer viruses. This time on the taskbar is used as a referral by AVG.
Changing the computer date and time confuses AVG about which downloaded update is the latest. To resolve this you will have to change the system date and time back to its correct values for the updates to be downloaded regularly, and also to make sure that your computer is secure.here is how to go about it:
1.Double-click the date and time icon on the taskbar
2.Change the date and time to the original/correct values and click 'OK' for the changes to take effect
If AVG still shows the same error then you will need to disable the automatic date and time function.to do this
1.Launch AVG anti-virus
2.Click 'Tools/Advance Settings'.
3.Uncheck the 'Check computer time'option
this is supposed to be used as an extreme measure since it can cause your updates to be out of date.
GOOD LUCK:-)
